Two Men Killed in Separate Fatal Crashes on I-95, Minot Maine
Two fatal crashes occurred in Maine on Tuesday morning. In Plymouth, a 40-year-old man from Alaska, Tyler Cochran, died after his Hyundai overturned on Interstate 95, with speed and suspected impairment cited as likely factors. Cochran was pronounced dead at the scene and required extrication from his vehicle, and the Maine State Police are still investigating with a request for any information from the public. Separately, in Minot, a 48-year-old man named Jonathan Spoffard died when a pickup truck crossed the centerline and collided with his minivan; the pickup driver was unharmed and the crash is under investigation. Authorities in both cases have asked for witnesses to come forward to assist with their investigations. These incidents highlight ongoing concerns about road safety and impaired driving in Maine.
