Dawes Release 'I Love L.A.' Cover for Wildfire Relief

Following their performance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, California rock band Dawes has released a cover of Randy Newman's 'I Love L.A.' to support wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles. The band's rendition, which features notable artists like John Legend and Sheryl Crow, was a tribute to the resilience of the community affected by recent devastating fires. Proceeds from the single will go to the Recording Academy and MusiCares' Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort, with band members Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith personally impacted by the fires, losing their homes and musical equipment. Dawes also performed at the FireAid benefit concert, highlighting their commitment to helping fellow musicians affected by the disaster. This release comes shortly after the band celebrated their 15th anniversary and the launch of their latest album, 'Oh Brother'.
