Elena Rybakina defeats Katie Boulter at Indian Wells

British tennis player Katie Boulter's run at Indian Wells ended with a third-round defeat to former Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina, losing 6-0, 7-5. Despite a strong start in the second set, Boulter was unable to maintain her lead as Rybakina capitalized on the Brit's errors to advance. Prior to this, Boulter had an impressive comeback in the second round against Irina-Camelia Begu, winning 6-7, 6-3, 6-0 despite recovering from a foot injury. The tournament marked Boulter's third competition of the year following a hiatus after the Australian Open. Elsewhere, fellow Brit Cameron Norrie was also eliminated in the third round by American Tommy Paul. Meanwhile, Iga Swiatek continued her strong performance, advancing to the last 16 with a commanding win over Dayana Yastremska.
