UNF’s Driscoll Resigns, Joins Kansas State Staff

Matthew Driscoll, the winningest coach in University of North Florida (UNF) and Atlantic Sun (ASUN) Conference men's basketball history, has resigned after 16 seasons to become associate head coach at Kansas State. Driscoll led the Ospreys to three ASUN regular-season titles, an NCAA tournament appearance in 2015, and set numerous program records, earning a reputation for building the program and developing players. UNF will conduct a nationwide search for a permanent head coach, with longtime assistant Bobby Kennen serving as interim. Both UNF athletic director Nick Morrow and Kansas State head coach Jerome Tang praised Driscoll's profound influence and coaching ability. Driscoll credited his success to players, staff, and the UNF community, emphasizing a legacy of character and service. He expressed confidence and peace in his decision to join Kansas State.
