JC Chasez Announces Concept Album Playing With Fire

JC Chasez, former *NSYNC member, is set to release a musical theater concept album titled 'Playing With Fire,' inspired by Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein'. This 16-track album, a collaboration with Golden Globe-winning songwriter Jimmy Harry, explores themes of love, responsibility, and human emotion through a narrative between Victor Frankenstein and his creature, set ten years after the death of Frankenstein's wife, Elizabeth. The album blends electronic pop with classical music, marking Chasez's first major project since his 2004 solo album, 'Schizophrenic'. Chasez expressed his initial apprehension about adapting his collaborator's late mother's theatrical work but ultimately embraced the challenge. 'Playing With Fire' will be available digitally and on CD on October 25, aiming to resonate with audiences just in time for the spooky season. The concept album promises an emotional exploration of the intertwined destinies of its characters, showcasing Chasez's artistic growth.
