Five Arrested in Murder Investigation of Missing Latvian Man

Five individuals have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the disappearance of 54-year-old Maris Ile, a Latvian national living in King's Lynn. The arrests occurred on Tuesday at various locations including King's Lynn, Norwich, and Peterborough, following an investigation that began after Ile was reported missing on November 23, 2022. Detective Superintendent Phill Gray stated that despite not having found Ile's body, police believe he has come to harm, prompting the unusual step of launching a murder investigation.
