Lewis Capaldi Plans New EP, UK Ireland Australia Tour

Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has announced plans to release a new EP later this year, reflecting his personal experiences over the past two years, with a full-length album expected to follow next year. He made his comeback with the single “Survive,” which reached number one in the U.K., and performed it live at Glastonbury Festival and on Good Morning America, where he also discussed his struggles with Tourette’s syndrome and mental health. Capaldi took a break in 2023 to focus on his health, undergoing intensive therapy and stepping back from touring due to the impact of his condition. He expressed nervousness about returning to performing but is excited to be back, with additional singles planned for release this summer. Capaldi has also announced a UK and Ireland tour scheduled for September, including major shows at London’s The O2. He indicated uncertainty about the sound of the upcoming album but expects it to be similar to his previous work.
