Fox Renews Grimsburg, Krapopolis, Universal Basic Guys For Multiple Seasons

Fox has renewed three of its animated series—Universal Basic Guys, Grimsburg, and Krapopolis—for additional seasons, further solidifying its animation lineup alongside long-running shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, and American Dad. Universal Basic Guys, an animated comedy about two factory workers enrolled in a universal basic income program, has been renewed for a third season ahead of its second season airing. Grimsburg, starring Jon Hamm as a detective struggling with family life, will also return for a third season as it wraps up its second. Krapopolis, set in mythical ancient Greece and created by Dan Harmon, has been renewed through its fifth season, continuing its successful run. The fate of The Great North remains uncertain, with Fox still considering whether to renew the series currently in its fifth season.
