Atlanta Hawks Sign Veteran Charles Bassey to Exhibit 10 Deal

The Atlanta Hawks have signed center Charles Bassey to a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract, a move that likely leads to him being waived and joining their G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks. Bassey, a 24-year-old with four years of NBA experience, last played for the San Antonio Spurs, appearing in 36 games last season with averages of 4.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 10.4 minutes. Despite injuries, including a patella fracture and ACL tear, Bassey showed strong performance in the 2025 Summer League with the Celtics, averaging 15.3 points and 11 rebounds per game with impressive shooting.
