Massive Fire Displaces Seven in Phoenixville Homes

A three-alarm fire on Evergreen Lane in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, on Sunday night damaged multiple homes and displaced at least seven residents. The fire, which started around 8:45 p.m., was exacerbated by strong winds that caused it to spread rapidly from one home to two others. Firefighters, numbering about 60, responded promptly, managing to control the flames by approximately 9:30 p.m. Despite the extensive damage, there were no reported injuries; however, two individuals suffered smoke inhalation. The incident led to the destruction of one home, and an investigation into the cause is currently underway. The fire chief noted that the high winds significantly hindered firefighting efforts.
