FIFA Opens 2026 World Cup Ticket Applications for North America
FIFA has announced that applications for the first ticket draw for the 2026 World Cup will open on September 10, 2025, with fans required to register and create a FIFA ID on FIFA.com/tickets to participate. The tournament, co-hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, will begin on June 11, 2026, in Mexico City, with Kansas City hosting six matches including group stage, round of 32, and a quarter-final match. Tickets will be released in multiple phases through to the final on July 19, 2026, with details on each phase and purchasing processes to be released closer to the dates. FIFA encourages fans to buy tickets only through official channels to avoid invalid tickets, and hospitality packages are already available at premium prices starting around $1,350. The tournament is expected to attract 6.5 million fans, with Canada offering additional opportunities through its Canada Red membership program for Canadian games. FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed excitement about hosting the biggest sporting event ever in North America and urged fans worldwide to prepare to secure their places.
