Missouri Man Arrested After Road Rage Incident on I-41 in Fond du Lac County

A reported road rage incident occurred early Friday morning on Interstate 41 in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, involving a 55-year-old FedEx truck driver and a 26-year-old Missouri man. The FedEx driver reported that the suspect vehicle stopped in the single open lane of traffic within an active construction zone near County Highway N and that the driver appeared to have a firearm. Deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office coordinated to locate and conduct a high-risk traffic stop near County Highway GG in Winnebago County. The suspect was taken into custody without incident, denied possessing a firearm, and consented to a search of his vehicle, where no firearm was found. He was arrested for disorderly conduct, and the incident remains under investigation with assistance from multiple law enforcement agencies.
