Indian wrestler Antim Panghal and her support staff are being deported from the Paris Olympics following a disciplinary breach where Antim gave her official accreditation to her sister, who was caught impersonating her to retrieve belongings from the Games Village. The incident unfolded after Antim lost her opening bout in the women's 53kg category. Antim and her sister were both taken to the police for questioning. Additionally, her support staff, Bhagat Singh and Vikas, allegedly traveled while intoxicated and refused to pay a taxi fare, escalating the situation. The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has decided to send them back to India, marking a significant embarrassment for the Indian contingent.
