Jessica Simpson Returns to Music, Open to Younger Men

Jessica Simpson, 45, confirmed she and Eric Johnson split earlier this year after 10 years of marriage and said they are focusing on their children while navigating the separation amicably and prioritizing privacy. She has spent 2025 returning to music and acting after a 15-year hiatus, releasing two EPs, debuting new songs at SXSW and touring. At the premiere of Hulu’s All’s Fair, where she has a cameo opposite Rick Springfield, Simpson joked about kissing the 76-year-old and said she’s currently more interested in dating younger men. Simpson told Extra that younger men seem to appreciate the confidence of an older woman and that she is “having fun” exploring that phase.
