Nikola Expands HYLA Network in California

Nikola Corporation has announced the establishment of a new HYLA hydrogen refueling station in West Sacramento, California, set to be operational by January 2025. This facility will be the first modular HYLA station in Northern California and will be capable of fueling up to 20 Class 8 hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks daily, enhancing access for fleet customers and supporting the north-south I-5 freight corridor. The development is part of a strategic initiative to expand hydrogen refueling infrastructure and accelerate the adoption of zero-emission trucks across California. Nikola's President of Energy, Ole Hoefelmann, emphasized the station's role in driving towards a zero-emission future. State Senator Christopher Cabaldon praised the initiative's potential to bolster California’s zero-emission trucking efforts. The station represents a significant milestone in Nikola's commitment to sustainable transportation solutions.
