California Man Arrested After Assaulting Banning Real Estate Agent, Police Chase

A 32-year-old man named Daniel Moreno was arrested after allegedly attacking a real estate agent at a vacant home in Banning, California. Moreno fled the scene in a Hyundai Elantra, leading police on a high-speed pursuit through Banning city streets and onto the I-10 and State Route 60 freeways, which ended in Moreno Valley following a pursuit intervention technique by authorities. Moreno, a Corona resident with prior contacts in Banning, faces multiple charges including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, mayhem, and felony evading, with bail set at $1 million.
