COMMUNITY community calendar

Various community events are scheduled across different regions, including art exhibits, health fairs, and cultural celebrations. In Alpena, the 'SummerView 2024' Exhibit at Art in the Loft features nearly 40 artists and will run until August 31, while the Besser Museum will host an opening reception for juried art show winner Linda Beeman on August 10. In Orangeburg, a community health fair on August 10 will provide free health services and school supplies. Additionally, the Vancouver Art and Music Festival will take place from August 2-4, showcasing local talent and interactive art. Ridgefield will host the annual Clark County Fair and various community events including a National Night Out on August 6. Lastly, Houston will feature performances such as Joshua Bassett at the 713 Music Hall and a mystery play at the Alley Theatre.
