Man Arrested for Hit-and-Run in Anaheim

Hassan Hamid Ali, a 20-year-old man from Torrance, has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run incident during an illegal street takeover in Anaheim that occurred on November 1. Ali was driving a black Dodge Charger when he lost control and struck two 19-year-old spectators at the intersection of State College Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue. The teens were trapped underneath the vehicle and sustained severe injuries, including broken bones, but are now in stable condition. Videos of the incident circulated on social media, leading to tips that helped police identify and apprehend Ali.
