Hyatt Plans First Andaz Hotel in Nagoya as Part of Major Meitetsu Station Redevelopment

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced a management agreement with Nagoya Railroad Co., Ltd. to develop Andaz Nagoya, the first Andaz hotel in the city, scheduled to open after 2034. The hotel will be part of a major redevelopment of Meitetsu Nagoya Station, which includes a new transportation hub and a high-speed railway, aiming to transform the area into a vibrant urban landmark. Andaz Nagoya will feature approximately 150 rooms and suites on the 25th to 29th floors, alongside amenities such as multiple dining options, a rooftop bar, lounges, meeting and event spaces, a fitness center, an indoor pool, and a spa. Positioned on Japan's strategic 'Golden Route' between Tokyo and Osaka, the hotel is designed to blend innovation, design, and local culture, enriching the city's appeal and supporting its growth as an international destination. Hyatt highlights the lifestyle brand's focus on connecting global travelers with local culture and creating immersive experiences, joining a global network of over 30 Andaz properties. This project reflects a broader effort to revitalize Nagoya as a key metropolitan hub with a blend of modern infrastructure and cultural heritage.
