Baller League to Launch in UK and US

The Baller League, set to launch in March 2025, is a new six-a-side football league expanding from Germany to the UK and US, spearheaded by influencers KSI and IShowSpeed. KSI will preside over the UK league while IShowSpeed will head the US version, both featuring a roster of football legends including Ronaldinho, Luis Figo, and John Terry as players and coaches. The league comprises 12 teams competing in weekly matches with unique rules that include a mix of traditional and innovative formats, such as goals scored from the back two-thirds counting as double. Trials for players will be held in Manchester and London, and the competition aims to offer a fresh, exciting approach to football, catering to existing fans and attracting new ones. CEO Felix Starck emphasizes the league's focus on authenticity and thrilling gameplay, likening it to successful formats like Gerard Piqué's Kings League. The inaugural season promises to blend traditional football with elements of street football, providing a platform for various talents.
