Netflix Unveils Trailer for Jentry Chau Series

Netflix is set to release a new animated series titled 'Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld' on December 5, 2024. The show follows Jentry Chau, voiced by Ali Wong, a Chinese-American teen in Texas who discovers that a demon king is hunting her for her suppressed supernatural powers. With the help of her ghostly great-aunt and a jiangshi, Jentry must confront various monsters while navigating the challenges of high school. The series aims to explore themes of self-identity and the balance between personal struggles and extraordinary abilities. The soundtrack features a theme song by K-pop group KATSEYE and will include original tracks from various artists. The series is produced by Titmouse, with Echo Wu serving as the creator and executive producer.
