This acquisition, announced by Atlanta Braves Holdings Inc., increases their real estate footprint by 30% and provides 2,700 parking spaces to accommodate the nine million visitors to The Battery each year. The complex features six office buildings, major tenants like The Home Depot, and various amenities, including fitness centers and a jogging trail. Braves Development Company President Mike Plant emphasized the strategic growth opportunity this purchase presents, enhancing the tenant experience and supporting community growth. The acquisition is aimed at expanding parking and office space capacity, as the Braves were previously at full occupancy. Future development plans have not been disclosed yet, but the acquisition positions the Braves to capitalize on the ongoing interest in The Battery Atlanta.
