Friedkin Group Completes Everton Takeover

Everton's new owners, The Friedkin Group, led by executive chairman Marc Watts, have expressed their full support for manager Sean Dyche and the club's staff following their recent takeover. Despite the backing, Dyche acknowledges that he needs to secure victories to ensure his continued role, especially with his contract expiring at the end of the season. The takeover aims to stabilize the club after a tumultuous period under former owner Farhad Moshiri, during which Everton narrowly avoided relegation. The Friedkin Group has also addressed the club's financial issues, aiming to improve their standing and ensure a stable transition to the new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock. Dyche remains focused on improving the team's performance, as they currently sit just above the relegation zone in the Premier League.
