Norway, as part of the Maritime Capability Coalition, will provide spare parts for Sea King helicopters to support Ukraine's maritime capabilities with Germany donating six Sea Kings and the UK planning to donate three. These helicopters, crucial for naval operations, will aid in reconnaissance over the Black Sea and transport missions. The initiative aims to enhance the Ukrainian Coast Guard swiftly in the face of ongoing conflicts. The Sea King, known for its versatility, was retired from Norwegian service in 2023 but will now assist Ukraine through spare parts donations.
