A fatal collision occurred on Rawnsley Road in Hednesford, Staffordshire on Sunday night, claiming the life of the male driver of a green Vauxhall Mokka. Emergency services, including air ambulances, responded around 7:45 PM BST, but despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger in his vehicle was seriously injured and taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital for treatment. The drivers and passengers of the second vehicle, a black Mercedes AMG, sustained minor injuries and were discharged on site. The Staffordshire Police have been informed and are investigating the incident, urging witnesses to come forward with any information. A bouquet of red roses has been placed at the crash site in tribute to the deceased.
