Detroit Police Chase Ends in School Bus Crash

A high-speed police chase in Detroit ended Friday afternoon when two suspects crashed into a school bus carrying three teenagers, causing the bus to hit another vehicle at Fullerton Avenue and Meyers Road. The incident began as police were investigating near Mettetal Street and Fullerton Avenue and saw the suspects leaving a house. The suspects initially collided head-on with an undercover police car before fleeing. After the crash, both suspects tried to escape on foot but were apprehended by officers. Police recovered a handgun, a large amount of cash, and narcotics, and the suspects were hospitalized with minor injuries. No injuries were reported among the teenagers or others involved, and police confirmed the incident is unrelated to the recent shooting involving Detroit rapper Skilla Baby.
