Jahlil Boston Guilty of Targeted Boardwalk Shooting

Jahlil Boston, a 35-year-old from Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, has pleaded guilty to first-degree aggravated manslaughter for the March 18, 2023, shooting death of Eric Wynn on the Atlantic City boardwalk. Boston was captured on surveillance footage during the incident and was apprehended shortly after with the murder weapon. He initially faced multiple charges, including murder, but accepted a plea agreement resulting in a 28-year prison sentence. According to the No Early Release Act, Boston must serve 85% of this sentence before being eligible for parole, followed by five years of parole supervision. The shooting was described as a targeted attack, with Boston and the victim being acquaintances. His official sentencing is scheduled for March 12.
