DHL Opens New $14.9M Pharma Hub in Singapore

DHL Supply Chain has launched a new €10 million (approximately $14.9 million) Pharma Hub in Singapore, part of a broader €500 million investment to enhance its Life Sciences and Healthcare (LSHC) logistics network across Asia Pacific. The 8,200-square-meter facility features specialized temperature-controlled zones and complies with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), ensuring optimal storage conditions for pharmaceuticals. This initiative aligns with DHL's Strategy 2030, aimed at transforming global healthcare logistics and responding to the increasing demand projected to reach $138 billion by 2030 in the region. Javier Bilbao, CEO of DHL Supply Chain Asia Pacific, emphasized that the investment is about building a foundation for faster and more reliable delivery of life-saving medicines. The hub's strategic location near major transport hubs facilitates regional and international distribution, enhancing DHL's operational capabilities.
