An 18-year-old named Browdy Lee Shaffer has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 15-year-old James Lobue Jr. in northeast Las Vegas. The incident occurred on September 2 at an apartment on Kepler Drive, where Lobue was found with a gunshot wound and later pronounced dead at University Medical Center. Shaffer is being held without bail and is scheduled for a court appearance on September 10. The victim, who had recently moved from North Dakota, was reportedly with several other juveniles at the time of the shooting, and police are investigating whether an altercation preceded the event.
