Two Fatal House Fires Kill One Each in West Virginia, Maine

Two fatal house fires occurred recently in the U.S., one in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and another in Avon, Maine. In Point Pleasant, a fire early in the morning on Lincoln Avenue led to one person being rescued and taken to the hospital, but they later died, with an accidental cause under investigation by the West Virginia State Fire Marshal. In Avon, Maine, a 37-year-old man named Issac Marston died in a structure fire on Avon Valley Road, with fire crews responding promptly and the Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office currently investigating the cause. Marston's remains were sent for autopsy and formal identification. Both incidents involved multiple emergency responders and remain under official investigation to determine the specific causes of the fires.
