Port St. Lucie Woman Found; Stow Search Continues
In Port St. Lucie, a 37-year-old woman reported missing Oct. 27 was found Oct. 28 stuck in roughly two feet of water and muck in the St. Lucie River after authorities mounted a large response near the 700 block of Northeast Emerson Street and deployed dive teams north of Prima Vista Boulevard; police said the woman has a history of leaving home. Separately, Stow, Massachusetts, police are searching for 38-year-old Katherine Watson, who was last seen near her Edgehill Road home between noon and 4 p.m. and was reported missing by her husband about 8 p.m. Police say Watson may have wandered into nearby woods or conservation land; she is described as about 5'4", 150 pounds, with light brown hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing light-colored pants and a blue sweater. The Stow search was suspended late Tuesday and was expected to resume the next morning; police warned of an increased presence in the area and asked anyone with information to call 978-897-4545 or dial 911.
