Joel Dahmen, Geno Bonnalie End Decade-Long Partnership

Joel Dahmen and his longtime caddie and childhood friend, Geno Bonnalie, have ended their professional partnership after over a decade together. The two, who grew up together in Washington and began their partnership on mini tours, have been mainstays on the PGA Tour since 2017 and became fan favorites through a Netflix docuseries. Dahmen announced the split on social media, stating the decision was mutual and aimed at getting a fresh perspective after a string of poor performances, including seven missed cuts in his last eight events. The news comes as several high-profile player-caddie pairs, such as Collin Morikawa and Max Homa, have also recently split. Bonnalie was on Dahmen’s bag for his only PGA Tour win at the 2021 Corales Puntacana Championship. Dahmen will debut a new caddie at the Barracuda Championship, while Bonnalie’s future plans are not yet known.
