AAP Prepares for Haryana Assembly Elections

Delhi Minister Atishi has expressed the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) readiness to contest all 90 seats in the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections scheduled for October 1, with vote counting on October 4. She highlighted successful public meetings led by senior party leaders, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal, which have drawn significant crowds. Atishi emphasized the emotional connection voters have with Kejriwal, a native of Haryana, and noted that decisions on alliances, particularly with Congress, will be made after his release from jail. Concurrently, Jannayak Janata Party leader Dushyant Chautala affirmed his party's preparedness for the elections, criticizing the current government's performance. The Chief Election Commissioner has confirmed that Haryana's elections will occur in a single phase, with more than 2 crore voters eligible to participate. Additionally, assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir will take place in three phases, marking a decade since the last polls.
