Duke Energy Names Harry Sideris CEO

Duke Energy has appointed Harry Sideris as its new President and CEO, effective April 1, 2025, succeeding Lynn Good, who will retire after more than two decades with the company. Sideris, a 29-year veteran of Duke Energy and current president, was recognized for his extensive experience in operations, customer service, and regulatory engagement. Ted Craver, the lead independent director, will transition to the role of board chair on the same date. Good, who has served as CEO since 2013, has significantly transformed Duke Energy into a leading utility during her tenure. The transition follows a comprehensive CEO-succession process aimed at maintaining the company’s growth amid evolving customer demands. Sideris's leadership is anticipated to build upon the strong momentum established by Good.
