Noel Gallagher's custom Silver Sparkle Gibson Les Paul Florentine guitar, which he famously declared as 'the best guitar in the world', sold for £226,800 ($286,000) at a recent auction. This iconic instrument was integral to the recording of Oasis's third album, 'Be Here Now', and featured prominently in performances on shows like The David Letterman Show and Saturday Night Live. The guitar was crafted at Gibson's custom shop and is believed to be one of Gallagher's most frequently used guitars during the height of Oasis's popularity. Additionally, a tambourine used by Gallagher's brother, Liam, sold for £6,300, while other memorabilia like John Lennon’s amplifier and Michael Jackson’s jacket also fetched high prices at the auction. The auction was conducted by Propstore, which specializes in entertainment memorabilia. Gallagher and Liam have announced plans to reunite for an Oasis tour in 2025, sparking excitement among fans.
