K.T. Rama Rao Criticizes Telangana Chief Minister

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao has criticized Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for targeting the poor during the Musi Riverfront Development project, accusing him of seeking revenge on Hyderabad's residents for their voting choices. He voiced concerns over the fear and uncertainty faced by families living in areas slated for demolition, particularly during the festive seasons. Rao challenged the Congress government for failing to deliver on pre-election promises, stating that the proposed expenditure of Rs 1.5 lakh crore for just 55 km of the Musi river raises suspicions of misappropriation of public funds. He urged affected residents to unite against potential demolitions, promising legal and physical support for their cause. Additionally, Rao highlighted the hypocrisy of Congress's housing promises while demolishing homes, asserting that the lands of the poor should not be taken for commercial developments. He called for a collective resistance, encouraging residents to prepare for potential confrontations with government officials.
