Aiken County Driver Dies in Fatal Rudy Mason Parkway Collision

A fatal head-on collision occurred on Rudy Mason Parkway near Willow Run Road in Aiken County, claiming the life of 40-year-old Joshua Millard. Millard's 2005 Chrysler Town & Country crossed the center line and collided with a westbound 2024 Volvo tractor-trailer around 8:15 a.m., resulting in Millard's death at the scene from blunt-force injuries. The tractor-trailer driver was injured and transported to a local hospital. Authorities, including the South Carolina Highway Patrol and Aiken County investigators, are actively investigating the crash. Following the incident, Rudy Mason Parkway was shut down between Willow Run Road and Old Wagener Road for an extended period.
