Liverpool FC Champions Rainbow Laces Campaign

The Rainbow Laces campaign, aimed at promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion in sports, is being supported by multiple clubs across the UK from November 29 to December 5. Liverpool FC will kick off their participation with a men’s match against Manchester City on December 1 and the women's team will follow with a game against Everton on December 11, where fans are encouraged to celebrate with Pride flags and activities. Both clubs will feature rainbow armbands for captains, and various promotional materials to raise awareness. Other clubs, including West Ham United and Bristol City, are also taking part through matches and community initiatives to highlight the ongoing need for inclusivity in sports. The campaign marks its 11th year, continuing to advocate for a safe environment for LGBTQ+ individuals in all sports. The Premier League has joined this effort, ensuring that the message of equality, diversity, and inclusion resonates throughout their fixtures.
