Oklahoma Adds Goodwin and Dreiling to Staff

Oklahoma has hired Wes Goodwin and Nate Dreiling to bolster its defensive coaching staff under head coach Brent Venables. Wes Goodwin, previously Clemson's defensive coordinator, joins as a defensive analyst after being let go by Clemson due to a downturn in their defensive performance. Meanwhile, Nate Dreiling, who was recently appointed as Arkansas State's defensive coordinator, is expected to serve as Oklahoma's linebackers coach with a potential co-defensive coordinator title. This follows a reshuffling after Zac Alley left for West Virginia and Ohio State's Jim Knowles declined a role at Oklahoma. Venables, who has a history with Goodwin at Clemson, will maintain defensive play-calling responsibilities. Dreiling, known for his defensive prowess, previously led defenses at Utah State and New Mexico State.
