Lebanon has closed its two eastern border crossings with Syria following an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Qaa crossing, which occurred early Friday morning. Transport Minister Ali Hamieh confirmed that the strike targeted Syrian territory and rendered the crossings inoperable for transit, leaving only the northern border route open.
