Additionally, the monsoon is projected to continue with heavy rains due to a new low-pressure system forming over the Bay of Bengal. The southern region has received surplus rainfall, significantly filling up reservoirs. Relief efforts are ongoing with the use of drones and helicopters to deliver essential supplies to affected areas.
