Man in 60s Dies in Early Morning Crash Near Stansted Airport

A man in his 60s, believed to be a Polish national British citizen, died after a car crash near Stansted Airport early on May 18. The incident involved a silver Renault Megane that left the road near the Esso service station on Start Hill. Emergency services, including the air ambulance, attended the scene, but the man died shortly after the crash. The road was closed for several hours during the emergency response and reopened before 8 a.m. Essex Police are appealing for anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage, or other information related to the incident to come forward to assist with the investigation.
