14-Year-Old Arrested After Hart Foodbank Vandalism, Burglary
A 14-year-old boy from Church Crookham has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after Hart Foodbank in Fleet was broken into and vandalised on May 25. During the incident, two windows were smashed, food was emptied and placed into sinks with taps left running, causing water overflow and damage. The boy was also arrested in connection with a previous burglary at the same site on March 5, where forced entry was made and glass sauce bottles were smashed. He has been released on police bail with conditions until September 5, while investigations continue. Police and Hart Neighbourhood Policing Team condemned the attacks as a disgusting assault on a charity helping the community and urged anyone with information to come forward. The food bank expressed that the damage was heartbreaking, affecting families in real need.
