Miami Beach Officer David Cajuso Killed In Motorcycle Crash On Interstate 75 Extension

Miami Beach Police Officer David Cajuso, a 33-year-old veteran with 10 years of service, died following a motorcycle crash on the Interstate 75 extension near Hialeah Gardens. The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. near the Gratigny Parkway and Northwest 138th Street exit, causing temporary lane closures. Officer Cajuso was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Police Chief Wayne Jones described Cajuso as a decorated officer and expressed condolences to his wife and three young children. Hundreds of law enforcement personnel showed support at the hospital as the Florida Highway Patrol investigates the incident.
