Summer Concert Series Return Across US Cities

Several cities across the U.S. are hosting free summer concert series in parks to bring communities together through live music. Milwaukee’s Jazz in the Park begins June 5 and features two shows a month through September, marking its 33rd year. Bowling Green’s Concerts in the Park will take place on Sundays in June and July at City Park, with performances relocated indoors if weather is poor. Los Angeles’ Levitt Pavilion launches its 18th season on June 21 in MacArthur Park, offering ten concerts with diverse genres including Cumbia, jazz, rock, and hip-hop, emphasizing cultural celebration and community. Apple Valley’s Sunset Concert Series runs Thursdays from June 5 with a variety of musical styles from ’80s pop to swing, alongside food vendors and a beer garden. Stockton’s Concerts in the Park start June 4 at Victory Park featuring classic rock, with weekly Wednesday shows through August encouraging picnics and lawn chairs for attendees.
