Disney Launches Princess Tiana Exhibit Indianapolis Before Touring 12 US Cities

Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis have collaborated to create "Tiana’s Joyful Celebration," a new immersive traveling exhibition inspired by Princess Tiana and the culture of New Orleans. Debuting on March 7, 2026, at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the exhibit invites visitors to help Tiana and her community prepare for a grand parade by contributing to decorations, music, food, and costumes, emphasizing teamwork and community spirit. The exhibit offers interactive, multi-sensory experiences that highlight New Orleans' vibrant Mardi Gras culture and extends the story introduced in the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attractions at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Following its Indianapolis launch, the exhibition will tour 12 additional U.S. cities starting in 2027, making the celebration accessible to families nationwide. This project combines Disney storytelling with educational elements to create a family-friendly experience that celebrates creativity and cultural heritage. The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the world’s largest children’s museum, serves as a fitting venue to ignite joy and curiosity through this unique cultural celebration.
