F1 2026: Madrid Debuts, Cadillac Joins, Imola Out
Formula 1's 2026 season will feature 24 races, starting in Melbourne, Australia, from March 6-8 and concluding in Abu Dhabi from December 4-6. The Madrid Grand Prix will debut on September 11-13 at the new 'Madring' circuit, replacing Imola and making Monza the sole Italian race. The Monaco Grand Prix moves to June 5-7, departing from its traditional late-May date. Cadillac, Audi, and Ford will join as new or returning teams, coinciding with new technical regulations introducing 100% sustainable fuels and updated power units. The calendar has been reorganized to improve regional flow and sustainability, with the Canadian Grand Prix following Miami and logistical changes aimed at reducing carbon emissions. F1 leaders have described 2026 as a 'new era' promising closer and more exciting racing.
