Jonas Vingegaard has confirmed his participation in both the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España in 2025, aiming for a third consecutive Tour victory. He indicated that his focus would primarily be on the Tour, which he regards as the most significant race of the year, while also preparing for the Vuelta after finishing second there in 2023. Vingegaard's early-season plans include competing in Paris-Nice and the Volta a Catalunya. He faced a challenging 2024 season, recovering from serious injuries sustained in a crash, but managed to finish second in the Tour de France following an emotional return to racing. His teammate, Wout van Aert, will not compete in the Vuelta, focusing instead on the Giro d'Italia and one-day classics.
