BFC Gets Green Light for 310-Unit Mixed-Use Towne Gardens Project

Several new residential and community development projects have recently received approval across various regions. In Kindersley, the Town Council approved a home-based business application with specific conditions, while the city Planning Board greenlit a $120 million project by BFC Partners to construct over 310 apartments and mixed-use retail and community space on the Towne Gardens site. Middletown Township preliminarily approved the Farms Edge at Shady Brook age-restricted housing development, which will feature 129 units and preserve over 40% of the site as open space, aiming to increase tax revenue significantly. Clare County Council granted planning permission for a new community building in the village of Connolly, including a playground, sensory garden, and other amenities to serve local residents and nearby areas. Finally, Amethyst Homes received approval for a 59-home residential development, The Woodlands, in South East Northumberland, marking an expansion for the regional housebuilder. These projects collectively highlight ongoing efforts to enhance housing availability, community facilities, and local economic growth.
