Mangaluru city police have arrested six individuals connected to a stone-pelting incident at the Mujidulla Huda Juma Masjid during Eid Milad celebrations. The suspects, aged between 19 and 34, are reported to have approached the mosque on motorcycles and damaged windowpanes from the rear. Masjid president K H Abdul Rahiman characterized the act as an intentional attempt to incite communal tension between Hindus and Muslims. Following the incident, a special investigation team was formed, leading to the arrests and the seizure of a car, two motorcycles, and four mobile phones. Notably, several of the arrested individuals have prior criminal records. Security measures have been heightened in the region to prevent further disturbances as the investigation continues.
